Puxi Grade 2: Math scavenger hunt outdoor

On October 2th, Grade 2 students attended a ‘math scavenger hunt’ activity. Before the activity, students were divided into five groups which were each asked different questions. The questions were very interesting. For instance, they need to find out objects which have patterns of cubes, or they needed to figure out the sum of their group members’ weights. They used their iPads to take photos and made comics to show the answers. And then each group had one representative to do a presentation.

All the Grade 2 kids had fun in this outdoor math class. They understood more about solid figures and plain shapes in daily life. They cooperated using team work, and showed the results individually.
