Puxi Grade 2 : Fun Halloween Activities

Grade 2 students attended three different activities related to Halloween in last two periods of the afternoons on Oct 31st.

The first was ‘Mummy Wrap’. Students worked in groups and pretended to be mummies. Four students wrapped one student from head to foot with the whole roll of toilet paper. Since this was their first time to play such a game, they were extremely excited. After wrapping, they could not help but laugh when looking at each other. They looked like real mummies!

The second activity was to pin the tail on the witch’s cat. Students spun around one time and then pinned the tail on the witch’s cat without peeking. The results were random because students could not open their eyes when pinning the tail. Some of them did pin the tail on the right spot while others did not succeed.

The last activity was a handcraft. Students used different color paper to make a witch’s head: green face, black hat and yellow ears. Students were very creative: they designed all different kinds of witches’ faces!

All the students were engaged in all activities and had they all had a great time!
