School Gallery Held ‘High School Art Class 1’ Exhibition

‘High School Art Class 1’ is a studio-based art class that is open to all 11th grade students at SHSID. This course covers basic art elements, such as form and color. Throughout the semester, students will be asked to produce their own creative artwork.

The artworks showcased in the current exhibition are class works of students. With instructors’ guidance, students pick one of their favorite artists, and then analyze and recreate one of that artist’s masterpieces. This project is called ‘The Appropriation of a Great Artist’. The artworks present a wide range of subjects, and materials. It made use of different media, and resulted in artworks with kinds of different characteristics. It is our greatest pleasure to have all students and teachers give their feedback and collaborate with us, and to join our collaboration.
