Grades 7 & 8: “Halloween Cinema”

On the 28th of October, just three days away from Halloween, the 8th grade ASBs held a Halloween themed cinema event on the second floor of the Lab Building, and it turned out to be a success and also a great experience for the ASBs.

Just a day before, was the Charity Fair of the 7th and 8th graders, which everyone enjoyed. The 8th grade ASBs held a stand, and sold tickets to the Halloween cinema. On the next day, the students watched horror movies, in the spirit of Halloween, and ate the lunch, which we provided.

But before all this happened, the 8th grade ASBs spent days planning and preparing this event. A week before, students started signing up for the incoming Charity Fair, and the ASBs also started coming up with ideas for it. After some thinking, they came up with this idea, which also happened to link the Charity Fair and Halloween together just right. The 8th grade ASBs then had several meetings on what food they were going to provide, what movies they were going to show, the price of the tickets, and at the end, distributed the work to everyone.

Thursday soon arrived, and the ASBs started selling the tickets. As time passed, more and more people came by and bought the tickets, but the ASBs were diligent and were not exhausted. They were filled with pleasure and enjoyment, and were relieved that nothing went wrong.

Friday came, and right after the PE class, a long queue appeared in front of the lab building, with students waiting to get in. Although there were tiny problems in the very beginning, the rest went on fluently, and the students watched the exciting movies very attentively.

Overall, this was a huge and new task for the 8th grade ASBs, but with no surprise, they handled it very well, and also learned important lessons that will help them in the future. We hope that all the students who attended this special Halloween event enjoyed it, and we wish everyone an eerie Halloween!
