Puxi Grade 2: Math Class- Scavenger Hunt

Grade 2 students attended a ‘scavenger hunt’ in math class on Oct 24th. Before the activity, students were divided into five groups and were given different questions. The questions were diverse, for instance, they needed to find out objects, which looked like polygons, solid figures, or they needed to figure out the sum of their group members’ weight. They used their iPads to record these findings in on the playground. All of them made great effort to complete questions, including observing leaves carefully. Our students are so smart that they folded their iPad covers into a triangle. Some of them found out that their teacher’s phone was a similar rectangular prism. This activity encouraged students to put what they have learned into practice.
