Grade 8: Clubs Organized by Students Are Flourishing
Grade 8: Clubs Organized by Students Are Flourishing
As all sorts of school-run clubs are carried out very smoothly, it's most thrilling to find out that clubs organized by students are also gaining strong momentum. Posters of the student-established clubs characterized by bold creativity and the bright colors cover much of the corridor walls on the eighth-grade floor, drawing fellow students to hold their busy steps and peruse.
Aside from the “Comic Club” which has a long history, and “the Smile Charity” which performed very well last school year, the all new “Go Club” has just been launched this semester and has attracted many students to participate. This club caters not only to beginners but also to those with the aim to improve their Go skills. Best of all, even some strong “hermits” have decided to take part in the club! Participants joining the Club all share a keen interest and a strong passion for Go as well as a hope to find their own space in the fascinating black and white world of Go.
As the students’ abilities continue to improve as they grow more mature, various kinds of student-organized clubs will appear. If you wish to participate in such a club or even to create your own, just go ahead and do it! Why not!?
