Puxi Grade 3: Designing Bookmarks

To encourage students to read books and experience the fun of reading, Puxi third graders designed their own bookmarks during Personal Growth Class on October 19th.

Students were excited when they got to know they would design their own bookmarks. During the class, all the students showed their talent in designing bookmarks for themselves.

Some students drew self-portraits and books on their bookmarks to encourage themselves to read more books. Some students drew books and pizza on their bookmarks to express their willingness to take part in the Pizza Party at the end of Reading Month. Some students drew their favorite cartoon characters on their bookmarks to invite their cartoon friends to read books together!

The point of this month’s reading race is not to win by reading the most books, but to let students experience the fun of reading. We hope all the third graders can find fun with reading and their bookmarks!
