Puxi Grade 3: First Aid Training

In order to help students manage emergency situations efficiently and with confidence, some training teachers from Xinzhuang Red Cross were invited to provide First Aid Training to the third graders in the auditorium during Personal Growth class on October 20th.

Firstly, training teachers explained some first aid theories, such as what emergencies are, how to check whether a person is conscious or unconscious, what is CPR (short for cardiopulmonary resuscitation), etc. Afterwards, they simulated realistic first aid procedures on a model of human body and invited two kids to practice first aid for drowning. Also, they demonstrated how to bind up the wound. After the training, every kid was presented a first-aid packet for a gift.

Thanks to this training, teachers and students in the third grade were equipped with basic first aid skills. We hope our kids will now be able to keep calm and give prompt first aid treatment in face of emergencies.
