Puxi Grade 3: A Created Continent on an “Alien World”

During Social Studies class on September 29th, the third graders presented their maps of an imaginary continent on an ‘Alien World’. They not only gave cool names to different rivers, aliens and cities, but also told stories about the planet and the inhabitants themselves!

Each student showed that he or she worked very hard in creating this ‘Alien Continent’. All of the students went above and beyond the project’s requirements in presenting their continents. Not only did they create an incredible world, but the students also practiced their presentation and public speaking skills by practicing their presentations using notecards. The students really engaged with this project thoroughly!
