Grades 7-8: History Project in September

A variety of History Projects were made for the Middle school students during this September. Grade 7 mainly focused on the classification of historical sources. The students picked up and listed 5 random materials firstly, and then tried to tell the differences between the primary sources and secondary sources through observation, reflection and asking questions with the help of teachers. They also cooperated with each other and fulfilled the task of making posters or booklets centering on the 7 main features of ancient civilizations. The 8th graders were encouraged to create Greek City-State maps on A3 poster paper, which would be helpful for them to understand Greek culture and society, and also the differences between Greek societies like Athens and Sparta.
