Grade 8: ASB Election

The 8th grade school year has started, thus the ASB selection has too. Each year a competition for the student council takes place in the start of the 1st semester, to give students a chance to improve all of our school life. In each class 2 to 3 students get to take part in this election, therefore making over 25 students in the entire grade. Now the actual ASB members will be a lot less than that, so everyone who starts off in the election will have to do a number of things to gain the students' votes. Firstly you have to make a poster about yourself. The more genuine and creative, the better. Then you make a short video stating what you plan on doing for the school. Only the honest people who mean what they say are the really good candidates! At the end of a couple weeks of hard work to achieve a good poster and video, the main student body will vote for their favorite candidates and thus a new ASB is born.
