Puxi Grade 2: Chinese Poster--- Picking Up Shells

In Chinese Show & Tell class on September 6th, native Chinese students made a poster related to their text ‘Picking Up Shells’. Students brought different shells from home to school. The shells came in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Then, based on their own shells and a paragraph from ‘Picking Up Shells’, they began working on some imitative writing. Their imitative writing was very creative. For example, some of them compared a big shell to a mobile phone, and some compared a small shell to a fan or a turtle shell. Such an activity brought lots of fun and offered an opportunity for students to learn more about shells and to practice their writing skills.
