Grades 7 & 8: Opening Ceremony

On Thursday, September 1st 2016, 7th and 8th grades students and teachers attended the Opening Ceremony in the big auditorium.

In the Opening Ceremony, student representatives from 7th and 8th grades came up and gave students interesting speeches. They told students their own experiences at SHSID. They encouraged students to find a good study habit and participate in many different social activities instead of only concentrating on grades. After the students' speeches, Mr. Ni's speech began. Mr. Ni gave students some specific requirements, and he also encouraged students to do well in this year. Principal Liu encouraged students to work harder. Then, students were awarded for their great achievements in the past school year, like top GPA scores. Hope everyone can have a great new semester.
