The Opening Ceremony for Primary Section SHSID

On the morning of September 1st, 2016, all the primary students and teachers of SHSID gathered together to have their Opening Ceremony of the school year 2016. During the ceremony, Mr. Liu Lian, the Principal of Middle School and Primary School and Ms. Bao, Director of Primary Section each gave a speech and expressed their good wishes and expectations to all the students, especially new students. There are especially 145 new 1st graders joining the primary school. They showed their good manners during the ceremony and have gained the praise from both Principal Liu and the Director of the Primary Section, Ms. Bao. The 4 student representatives, Lucas in 2(4), Hannah in 2(6), Christina in 3(6) and Rachel in 4(2) spoke to all the audience. They all loved their school classmates, teachers and SHSID as well. They shared many sweet memories when they were in SHSID last year with all their classmates and teachers. They are all looking forward to the coming new school year. One of the greatest strengths in the ceremony is the short movie acted by some of the primary students. The students showed the audience our everyday routine by their vivid performance. Finally, all the 10 awards for the last semester were given out by the teachers. Everybody was cheering and applauding very warmly for the students who have received the great honor. A successful opening ceremony shows a good start for this new school year.
