A Good Experience in Sage China

Sage China is a competition which encourage high school students to find out social problems and find the solution to complete the project. The competition was divided into two parts: SRB&SEB. The SEB team is non profit, while the SRB team aim to make a profit. Our project is called “child educated child” This project let children have basic dance and drawing skills to help those children who come to Shanghai with their parents. We want to help the children to have an art class, also we want to make more children aware of public welfare and are volunteer to help others. This competition takes a long time to finish, From last October to 6.12 last weekend. It takes us about 8months to finish our project. The first part of the competition is the planning, which allows us to prepare a budget, risk report and meeting report. Fortunately, the second prize is 5000yuan and served as our starting money. The success of the project means a lot to out members. Our project starts from March, divided into dancing class and painting class, total 12 classes. Every weekend two students of our club will go to the school to teach the students the history of dance and art.. After midterm, we quickly turned to the preparation of final reports and presentations. At that time, everyone was busy with school’s projects and homework but also needed to write the report and the speech. Although the average we went to sleep was 12 o’clock, finally we finished a 6000-word report and attended the Sage final. The process is more import than results, the experience is our wealth, thanks for every member of my team, thanks for your support. This is not only a competition but also helps build up our skills.
