Grade 10 English Debate: The Lens of Literary Text Analysis

On June 14, the Grade 10 students from English H+ classes had a debate on the topic that “Which one is the most universally useful lens of literary text analysis?”. The advocates from the class of Mr. Way stood firmly for structuralism, and the ones from Mr. Kaskan argued for feminism. The debate commenced with opening statements from both sides, which boiled the atmosphere. Then it followed the mutual debate, igniting the fire of the battle while both parties had a fierce argument over the topic. In the end, the judge announced the winners, the structuralism side, but all the students were commended for their incredible exploration of knowledge.
