Grade 8: Chinese Essay Competition
On Tuesday, May 24th, the Native Chinese Classes of 8th grade held an essay competition. Students were given an hour in class to write. Other than the rule that the title of their essays needed to be chosen from a list of possible ideas, there were no further requirements on their paper. Thus, the students were free to let their imagination take them to wherever they wanted to travel on the paper.
First, the students are given a short discussion time shortly after they received the sheet containing the list of titles. Then, they were given to fill out a blank sheet.
After a week of judgment, the Chinese teachers have finally finished grading all of the essays. The winners are as the following:
