Grade 9-10: History Day

May 25th, 2016, was a big day for 9-10 grade students: History Day. The aim of History Day was to help remind the students of history, and reflect on historical legacies. Also, it helped many students realize the importance of major events and figures from history. During History Day, some students wore costumes of real-life historical figures.

During the CAS class, all grade 9 and 10 students gathered at the auditorium because it was time for the awards ceremony for the historical documentary film projects by the students. A selection of documentary films were awarded in 11 different fields and clips of the awarded films were played. Winning students were awarded a certificate and a globe. After the awards ceremony, the History club demonstrated their History Bee and Bowl competition. It was a meaningful day for all students as it reminded students about the importance and fun of history.
