High School Students Won Prizes in 2016 EDTA China

On May 14 and May 15, Esther Cheung 9(11), Teresa Xiao 9(8), and Tiffany Zhang 9(8) participated in the "2016 EDTA Drama Festival". Esther and Teresa took part in the improv completion on May 14; on May 15^th, all three students participated in the 24 hour competition. In both competitions, contestants had no way of preparing, this was different from performing a play we rehearsed for a semester. There were only 24 hours (actually only 5 hours counting from the time of actual rehearsal to the time of performance) from the first time contestants saw the script to the actual performance. The three students--participating in the festival for the first time--tried their best to achieve awards. Esther Cheung won two individual awards--"best humor" in the improv festival and "best movement" in the 24 hour theater festival. Teresa Xiao won "outstanding troupe" and "audience favorite" in 24 hour theater, while Tiffany Zhang won "best troupe." We are looking forward to more outstanding accomplishments in the future.
