Puxi Grade 3: Math Project—Make a Recipe Poster

On May 12th, Grade 3 students presented their math fraction project: make a recipe poster. There are several steps to make this project: 1. Find one recipe you like, and each recipe must contain at least one whole number, one mixed number, and three fractions; 2. Copy or cut out the complete recipes. 3. Cut out or draw pictures of the ingredients and of the finished recipe. 4. You will need to double and triple your recipe. Their projects are diverse, such as handmade cookies, cakes, and fruit drinks. Most of them wrote down the fractions correctly. Such a project offers students a good chance to enhance what they learned in class.
