Grade 8: History and Geography Bee
On May 5th2016, Grade 8 students and teachers attended the History and Geography Bee in the middle school cafeteria. After a preliminary round, there were only six candidates left for this final round. History teacher, Mr. Wright, and Geography teacher, Mr. Sharp, kept turns in asking challenging questions. The range of questions was very diverse, including categories of countries, wars, diseases, weapons and so on. Amazingly, all the candidates fully displayed their historical and geographical capabilities by answering those questions quickly and correctly. Finally, Maverick from 8(4) won the Bee. Congratulations!
