Puxi Grade 3: Chinese Culture Week

April 5th to April 8th were the days of Chinese Culture Week. Grade 3 students attended different activities and knew more Chinese culture every day. Tuesday was the day for the year of the monkey, and students watched an Chinese ancient famous movie ‘The Monkey King.’ Students drew facial makeup in Peking opera on Wednesday. On Thursday, they watched a traditional Chinese music concert. On Friday, students dressed up as a famous Chinese character, which could be real or a character from a book. During recess time, students also played Chinese traditional games, such as kicking shuttlecock, Chinese magic flowers, and so on. They had lots of fun. Grade 3 students broadened their horizons and had a very meaningful week!
