Puxi Grade 1：Math Mini Market

The students of grade one learned about American money in math class. In the math class of April 7, Thursday, the first grade teachers organized an interesting activity called Math Mini Market.

On that day, every class of grade one ran a special mini market with the fake coins and commodities prepared by the first graders. Every first grader had prepared three commodities for sale in advance and everybody can buy each other’s commodities with the fake coins in this market. Every student tried very hard to pick his favorite goods, counting the coins he needed to pay and figuring out the change he should receive.

This activity helped all the first graders practicing counting coins and making change in an interesting and creative way. Every student has benefited a lot from this mini market.
