Middle School Science Fair:Egg Dropping Contest

On March 31, 2016, during a Thursday CAS class, the seventh and eighth graders began their science fair. This time however, instead of only the fun activities each class held, the students welcomed the egg dropping contest. It was held in and out of the cafeteria and every student who wanted to take part in it had to wrap their egg as safe as they could before that day. They ASBs and teachers laid out a target for the contestants to hit. The contestants climbed up the stairs to either the second or third floor and waited eagerly for the contest to begin. As the teachers and students told them to go, one by one the students threw down their wrapped eggs and ran eagerly to see if it survived or not. Teachers and ASB members ran back and forth to keep things under control and in order. When an egg survived, the contestant cheered happily, when it didn’t, they still laughed and smiled at the fun experience. Finally the science fair drew to an end, but all students were eager to hear about the final winner of the egg dropping contest.
