First Graders Built Cities with Trash Items

During week 7 from March 28 to April 1, the students reviewed the three R's and worked on an exciting class project. The three R's are Recycle - to turn waste like plastic into new plastic, Reuse - to use something again, and Reduce - to use less of something like water or electricity.

On Friday April 1, the first graders used all of the trash items collected to make recycled cities. The students worked in teams to plan, create, and build awesome cities using plastic, glass, paper, and cardboard, etc. Students had a fun time building things while helping the planet!
