Grade 7-8: Science Lecture—Weird Science

On March 30th, students from all over the 7th and 8th grade came together again in the program of science lecture on the subject of Weird Science. The teacher，Mr. Liao Hui enlightened the students with unusual scientific facts and knowledge as everyone listened with great interest. There were discussions about animals with “superpowers” as well as technological advancements over time. They learned for the first time about the intensity of a blue whale’s groan, and the history behind genetic engineering. At the end of the session, Mr. Liao happily answered all of the students’ curious questions, and each brought back home with them a new piece of information they learned at this lecture.
