Grade 9 & 10 Peer Advisor: How to Prepare for University Application

On March 29, 2016, the Peer Advisor program invited 2 grade 12 students to share their experience of university applications with grade 9 and 10 students. The senior advisors, who were successfully enrolled at Harvard University and Hong Kong University, came to Zhongxing Annex Building during lunch time, and talked about their experience by summarizing the preparation procedure during the whole journey through high school, and listed all the major challenges met in the process of application. According to their suggestions, junior students should consider their personal characteristics and make an early and reasonable timetable. Grade 9 and 10 students also raised questions about the elective courses and majors that they were faced with. The peer advisor session helped the younger students to acquire more beneficial information from the experienced students, and to make a plan for the future challenges.
