SHSID Students Achieved High Scores in Math Competitions

Students from SHSID achieved high scores in 2016 American Mathematics Competitions (AMC10/12), and obtained the qualification to take the American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME). Some students earned the Certificates of Distinction and some students earned the Young Student Certificates of Achievement. Alex Li from Grade 9 is the winner of AMC12, and Alan Yang from Grade 8 is the winner of AMC 10. In addition, Jason Yue obtained excellent achievement in the 2015 Sun Life Financial Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge, and received a direct invitation for the 2016 Canadian Mathematical Olympiad. Congratulations to them.
