Grade 10: Youth Business Leader Academy

SHSID had a lecture on the Youth Business Leader Academy for Grade 10 students in the afternoon of March 23rd, 2016. The subject was “How to choose business related major in universities and colleges, and the potential career in the future”. Two lecturers from the industries of IT and international education gave students a picture of the different characteristics of business majors. By listing the relevant majors, such as finance, accounting, marketing, operation management, economy, the lectures explained the content and requirement of each major and subject.

The guest speakers also analyzed the vocation choices in the business world. A business majored student may become an investment banker, accountant, consultant, COO or CFO of a company. Students raised many questions and had a heated discussion with the lecturers, who helped the young students to build a better concept of the education and career development in the field of business.

SHSID has been contributing to build more bonds of the class and the society for students, and there will be more chances for them to learn about business knowledge on the Youth Business Leader Academy.
