Grade 11-12: Design Group Meeting

The Design Group for eleventh and twelfth grade, was established during the first semester of 2015. As leaders of the group, Director's design assistants Bobo Huang and Sabrina have gathered all kinds of talented designers from among the student body. The Director's office directly manages the group and assigns design projects for the students to sharpen their skills, allowing them to demonstrate their designing abilities.

In the past six months, The Design Group have altered the imagery of the school. They have successfully designed the backgrounds of the Opening Ceremony, Public Section, Career Day's publicity poster, and New Year's greeting cards. Furthermore, they have also held the popular Drawing Competition for the 150 Year Anniversary. The students also made videos "N reasons to like SHSID" and "Hongmei Primary School Volunteer Activity."

The club, course and university introductions in the XMT Annex are all designed by The Design Group. In addition, with gifted hands, a talented 11th grader Sarie Nohara coordinated and painted the walls in XMT Annex 4.

This semester, the Design Group will continue to illustrate their skills. On March 10th, 2016, the Director's Office held the first meeting to encourage the students to attend the High School Design Competition, and to keep on showing more of their gifts for future projects.
