Puxi Grade 1-4: Dr. Seuss Week

Week 4, from March 7th to March 11th, was Dr. Seuss Week for the primary school, in honor of the amazing children's author Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Through out the week, students and teachers enjoyed a variety of activities and had a lot of fun!

On Manic Monday, a huge variety of hats combined to make the primary school a sea of hats. Some students made their own crazy hats with infinite creativity, which was amazing!

Wednesday was Wacky Socks Day. A lot of children wore funky socks to celebrate Wacky Sock Day. Some girls wore colorful tights, while some boys wore mismatched socks to show creativity. The students sat happily together and the teachers took a photo of all the socks. It was so cool.

The theme of Thursday was Thing 1 and Thing 2. The students were so excited dressing the same as their friends.

Friday was the last day of Dr. Seuss Week and it was Fan Day. The students dressed like characters from Dr.Seuss books in remembrance of Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Seuss Week came to an end, but the students will keep enjoying the laughter and happiness brought by Dr. Seuss. Every student in primary section is unique and irreplaceable! Just as Dr. Seuss said, “today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive that is youer than you!”
