Grade 11: Pi Day& White Valentine's Day

Pi, 3.1415926, is the ratio between the circumference and the diameter of a circle. Both Pi Day and White Valentine Day activities were celebrated by the 11th grade to cultivate interest in studying math and to strengthen friendships.

Every student got a sector of pizza for the Pi Day activity. In addition, some homeroom teachers got involved in a 'cake throwing' activity. Students took part in a recital of Pi and math quiz.

It was also White Valentine's Day yesterday. Students ordered flowers through a Wechat official account which they designed themselves.

We all enjoyed this activity very much!
