Grade6: Lantern Festival

The years come and go, all part of life, through good and bad. Just like a box of chocolates, some are sweet and some are bitter. In SHSID, we participated the Lantern Festival to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

In this special event, participants to read riddles that teachers or other students had made. Participants worked together to solve the riddles stapled along the hallway. If answered correctly, a lollipop was awarded to the students. There were many riddles to be solved, challenging the students to think outside the box and claim their prize.

This event is neither a competition nor a race, the teachers just wanted students to have fun and have a great experience! Just like how Ethan Wang from 6(6) said, “ This is an event that is made to let us think differently and let us have a good time!”

Finally, I conclude that this event is an annual festival and we all enjoyed it! And I hope all the readers can have an auspicious and a fortunate new year!
