Grade 11-12: Club Mid-year Report
Grade 11-12: Club Mid-year Report
For the first CAS class of the second semester, our school held a "mid-year report" for most of the clubs. Held in the auditorium, the report targeted students from 11th and 12th grade. The club leaders took the stage, and introduced their clubs. What they are about, what they did last semester, and their future aims. Clubs were graded by the audience for their performance. Audience students scored each club according to the club's general awareness, influence, and presentation on a scale of 1 to 5, with 2points for each grade.
A duo of hosts made lots of jokes and dramatically introduced the clubs to the audiences. When the club leaders presented their ideas, it was evident that all the club leaders are indeed talented and very passionate about their clubs. For example, the "Just Dance Club" showed their moves by performing onstage; the "computer club" blew the audience away with their tech skills. Also, the remarkable achievements of the clubs were outlined, demonstrating the hard-work and devotion of the members to their clubs. For instance, the "Fiction Club" has already published four booklets that are comprised of short stories written by themselves. The "Photography Club" has held an exhibition in our campus that displays the beautiful photos taken by the club members.
The Club Midyear Report was truly a beneficial and rewarding event. Students gained a deeper understanding of our clubs and the club leaders appealed to the students to join them in their efforts.
