Pudong Grade 3: Lantern Festival Celebration

Lantern Festival was celebrated by Pudong Grade 3 on February 22, 2016.To begin the celebration, the Chinese teachers briefly explained the history and origin of Lantern Festival to their students. Chinese class was spent crafting the traditional colorful lanterns. After lunch, students were challenged to solve riddles, which is an essential part of the festival. The riddles were written by the students and they worked together to solve the riddles put to them by their classmates. Successful solving the riddle was rewarded with a prize. Yuanxiao was enjoyed by the students during snack time. Lantern festival was enjoyed throughout the school and was a big hit with the students and teachers alike.
