The Whole Primary Section Participated in Opening Ceremony

In the morning of February 18, all the primary students participated in the Opening Ceremony for the Academic Year 2015, the second semester. The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Bao and the director of the Primary section and Mr. Liu, the principal of SHSID also joined in the ceremony.

To begin the ceremony, the students were presented with a video, allowing them to relive the achievements and experiences of last semester. Full of great memories and some hilarious moments, the students experienced an emotional roller coaster as the video replayed the many great moments of the past semester. The students and staff look forward to the coming new semester.

After that, Mr. Liu, Ms. Bao and teacher representatives from each grade expressed their hopes for the new semester for all the students. In addition, four student representatives expressed their love of school life and ambitions for the semester. They were Lucas from 1(5), Tiger from 2(5), Zane from 3(3) and Elena from 4(5).

The highlight of the ceremony came with the announcement for the “Ten Star Students” from the last semester. Students took great pride in receiving their awards, while the other will aim to achieve similar results this semester.

The Ceremony was a complete success, with students displaying great attitude and commitment to the school. We wish all the students the very best this semester.
