Puxi Grade 2: Rodari Sharing Activity

Last month, native Chinese students of grade two have a one-month Rodari reading activity. This month, students were required to choose one of their favorite stories and make a project using an app called Explain Everything. Teachers first took some time teaching kids to learn this application as well as some important elements in design. At first, students were not very familiar with this new application, but after exploration by themselves, most of them succeeded in making beautiful projects. In the Chinese class on December 23rd, students presented their projects in front of the class with confidence.

This reading activity is aimed to cultivate students’ interests in reading books as well as increasing their ability of applying new technology. Besides, their creative thinking and aesthetic awareness needs to be enhanced.
