SHSID Academic Hexathlon Championship 2015

Science, Economics, Essay Writing, Speech, and Super Quiz, is created to provide opportunities for students to experience the challenges of rigorous team and individual academic competition. The Super Quiz, the finals of Academic Hexathlon Championship was held in December 18. It was open to public, and was inevitably one of the most memorable and exciting parts of Academic Hexathlon Championship. This year, the top 5 groups of about 18 players, and some individual players, who had already completed in all previous item tests, came to compete in the Super Quiz, and it lasted for the whole noon. During this round, the contestants raced to be the first to press the responder, which made the atmosphere of the competition more and more intense. During the competition, the participants demonstrated their mastery of a broad range of knowledge by answering questions from six different subject areas: History, Geography, Literature, Music, Art, and Sports. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for individuals and teams, respectively in the coming days. This experience offers students the chance to reap the rewards of a greater self-knowledge and self-confidence for the future.
