Senior High School Art Festival

On December 23rd, 2015, the art festival of high school was held in the big auditorium. After two weeks of auditions, 22 programs would be on the stage of art festival and all the final performances were carefully designed again. The performers hope that they can everyone the most shining stage.

At 1:00 pm, the Grade 11 band started this year’s Arts Festival. Their performance warmed atmosphere instantly. And then the third performance, the group dancing “Worth it” and the fourth performance rap which made audience in a warm atmosphere. Gorgeous lights this year also gave the audience a joyful experience: a variety of alternating colored lights made dance more passion, warm lighting made the Christmas songs more peaceful, bright lights then made the instrument performance more solemn. After that, a succession of performances: group dancing from Korean boy, drama from drama club and group dancing from two IB classes made a lot of students gathered in front of the stage. Finally, the String Orchestra brought a perfect ending, and all the homeroom teachers of senior high school distributed Christmas gifts to all the students. The biggest change for this year’s Art Festival is that audience can vote for their favorite performance. Students can scan the QR code on Art Festival Contents and vote for the performances. At last, the Director Liu picked up three lucky audience from the participated students and gave them Christmas present. According to voting, the dancing “I’m so sexy” won the most popular performance, and the second and third prize was “Bang Bang Bang” and “Shake, Shake, Shake it till you make it”.
