Grade 9&10: Art Festival

On December 23, 2015, SHSID grade 9 and 10 had the annual art festival in the Auditorium. Dance, chorus, band, orchestra, musical, all overwhelmingly hit the stage and shocked the audience. The fest was also a multi-cultural feast. One may find numerous international elements on the stage, such as K-pop, Japanese comic music, Indian comedic dance, Shakespeare’s drama, etc. During the intervals, directors and grade heads of grade 9 and 10 raffled fabulous prizes for students. The winners screamed when seeing the screen stopped flashing and their faces stayed on it. As a convention, Mr. Feng Ma, the principal of SHSID, appeared on the stage dressed like a Santa, who gave out a huge bag of gifts to all the audience, winning most encores and applause. At last, the art extravaganza of 2015 came to the end amid the general festivity.
