Daniel's Visit and Presentation at SHSID

On December 16, 2015, SHSID alum Daniel Cai, Student Ambassador ofStanfordUniversity, came back to SHSID, bringing with him a sack of goodies from Stanford: pamphlets, wisdom, and anecdotes. Giving a lively presentation in the Annex Auditorium, he discussed not only specific parts of the application process, but also his personal experiences from his time at Stanford. The wide range of topics, from the "Why Stanford?" supplement essay to impaling teddy bears (symbolizing UC Berkeley) on spikes, kept the presentation fresh and helpful. His presentation was met by loud applause from the numerous juniors and seniors that had gathered.
