Professor Chen Mo Gave a Lecture on The Psychology of High School Students’ Parents

On December 1^st, 2015, in the afternoon, Professor Chen Mo gave a lecture on the psychology of high school students’ parents in the Xianmian Building Auditorium. She is the Professor of psychology at East China Normal University and also the Director of Shanghai Psychological Society. Parents from G9-G12 joined the lecture and discussed the problems they had in dealing with their children.

Professor Chen believes that high school is a very important phase for the student. It’s the time they form their value system and self-identification, and accordingly, Professor Chen Mo offered his advice and solutions on how to improve parent-child relationships.

One hour and a half’s lecture gave the parents a clearer idea of the mental state of high school students and directions on how to help their children get through this important phase.
