Grade 7 & 8: Debate Club

The junior section (7&8th grade) debate is held every Thursday. After auditions, students are separated into the debate club and the debate team. In the debate club, students get to learn the techniques of debate, and obtain useful knowledge on the subject. On the other hand, in the debate team, students debate in the form of teams, during which they learn of both debating and cooperation skills.

On Thursday, December 3rd, the debate team members got into teams of three, and debated about whether Intellectual Property Right should be abolished or not. Through this activity, the students were not only able to learn about the importance of teamwork and collaboration, but also about the importance of presentation skills.
