Puxi Grade 2: Culture Week

Week 13(from November 22rd to November 27th) is Culture Week for second graders. It provides students a good opportunity to travel around the world. Social studies teachers gave introductions of different countries such as France, Mexico, Myanmar, IceIand, Italy and Spain on many aspects. Besides, in Personal Growth class on Thursday, every class invited one parent to come to introduce the history, culture, food and scenery of the country they come from. Students moved around under the guidance of the homeroom teacher to feel the charm of different countries.

Before traveling around countries, students were required to design a special passport. Every time they travel around a country, they will have a stamp on their passports. Meanwhile, they have a chart for them to record the information of different countries, including language, national flag, population, festivals and famous places.

Students really enjoyed the Culture Week for the reason that it brings them an opportunity to explore this amazing world!
