Grade 12: English Speech Competition

The English Speech Contest for Senior High School was held on Nov 25th CAS. This year’s competition was very attractive from the beginning. Contestant No.2, Jung, introduced all the contestants via rap, which lit up the atmosphere. Then, the standard group competition started. Two contestants made a speech for a given topic and the judges would determine the winner. For the Higher Level contestants, they should give the speech they prepared and challenged by the judges. After that, the top four contestants would take the final championship contest. They would give the speech provided on the spot and the students, judges and teachers, would vote for them. At the end of the competition, the special guest, Ms. Zhang Mengzi, from ICS channel, shared her experience about how to make a public speech. Also, she presented awards to the winners. The First Prize for Higher Level was Hwang, Yi Ting from 11(1) and First Prize for Standard Level was Jung, Seung Oh from 12(2).
