Pudong Grade 1: DIY Constellation

This week in science we began studying the solar system and constellations! The students had a great time learning about all of the different planets in our solar system, and some were even able to name all of them correctly in order.

During the class on constellations we looked at some of the more famous ones (Ursa Major and Orion) and discussed how we can make pictures by connecting stars. Afterwards, the students created their own star constellation and named it!

These awesome constellations are hung up in our classrooms to help inspire our kids to reach for the stars!
