Grade 9: Impromptu Speech

In the speech competition for grade 9 and 10 this week, many strong and convincing speakers dedicated their wonderful performance during the second round: impromptu speech. Students had to take a random topic and in thirty seconds they needed to prepare a short speech and present it. Many interesting and funny topics appeared such as: “What is the conversation between a spider and his cousin who lost the job?” and also “If everything changes into one color, what color would you choose?”. Such experiences provided students a chance to prepare a speech with no warning and no time to organize their thoughts, which is a great challenge to all the speakers.
