Grade 7: Celebrated Halloween

Halloween has always been an international holiday for people all over the world to celebrate. This year, Shanghai High School International Division’s 7th graders and teachers decorated classrooms, dressed up in costumes, and trick-o-treated all around the building. Classroom ceilings were covered in cobwebs, string decorations, and mini pumpkin designs. A background was put up in the lobby for students to pose with their costumes on. There were animals, ghosts, monsters, and all sorts of terrifying and creative outfit and masks. Almost all the teachers prepared various sorts of candies to share with their students: high-chews, lollipops, chocolates, etc. When lunch ended, the hallways were bursting with excitement as hundreds of students ran around in costume. More than half the grade had artistic and creepy designs on their faces: spider webs, scars, dark outline under the eyes, and more. Even the teachers dressed up! Some wore animal ears, some put on makeup, and some wore scary outfits. This universal holiday allowed teachers to have fun, and students to laugh and fool around with friends.
