Grade 9 & 10: Subject and Future

On October 28, 2015, grade 9 and 10 students of SHSID had the lecture classes “Subject and Future.” Dozens of subjects (e.g. Chinese literature, mathematics, history, physics, biology, chemistry, psychology, environment science, economics, journalism, and IT) were included in the classes. The Lecturers gave an introduction of various majors under each subject, including ecology, genetics, digital communication, accounting, etc., according to their own professional academic background. From the lecture, students chose subjects of their own interest, and learned about different fields of certain subjects and related careers. The lecturers also provided personal guide to students to help them form a concrete target. “We appreciate having the opportunity to learn more about these subjects and the lectures will be very beneficial,” said one of the grade 10 students.
