Grade 12: Past Week's College Visits

This past week brought us a stream of college visits. FromSimonFraserUniversity,SydneyUniversity, andHong KongUniversity, on Monday, to Tuesday’s classroom-sized college fair composed ofTulaneUniversityalong withBostonCollegeandConnecticutCollege, to Wednesday’sBinghamtonUniversity, Les Roches International School of Hotel Management,YaleUniversity; and finally, Thursday’s visit by the Admission Officer ofUniversityofSouthern California.

Starting on Monday October 12, the Songtourage fromSydneyUniversityintroduced themselves with several famous songs before concluding with a Maroon 5 medley. Moving into the Question & Answer session, six a cappella singers gave each student who asked a question a Songtourage CD. These a cappella singers studied different majors, including law, the sciences, and the arts.

On Tuesday, October 13Boston College,ConnecticutCollege,TulaneUniversityandNortheasternUniversityput together a few tables in our second floor classrooms and held a college fair. Students were able to approach representatives, ask questions, and even, to simply chat with them.

After school on October 15, students gathered in the Annex Building Auditorium for theUniversityofSouthern California’s visitor. The Admission Officer, Aaron Brown, covered the need-to-knows about USC, such as internships, campus life, majors, the popularSchoolofCinematic Arts, school life, in other words, various aspects of life as Trojan.

This is the past week’s college visit!
